Now, with the introduction of Wineware’s latest product, the SoWine – Serving and Wine Preservation System, there is no longer any need to worry or to wonder what to do. The SoWine system can keep one or two opened bottles of wine fresh for up to 10 days after opening simply by extracting the air from the portion of the bottles already emptied. The remaining wine, both red and white, can be kept at their respective different serving temperatures, in premium condition, so that when you are ready to indulge again, you can, without any deterioration from its original serving state! There are no gases used in the system so therefore there are no costly accessories to buy once you’ve already purchased this exciting innovation.

The dimensions of the Wine Preserving System measure 422 mm x 248 mm x 255 mm (H x W x D) so whether you are looking to store it out of sight in a cupboard or to display it on a kitchen work top, it is compact enough to easily fit into both situations.

Peter recently visited Wineware to present us his One For All Wine Glasses and left us in no doubt that the concept truly works and we are now honoured to be able to offer this truly exceptional wine tasting tool to our customers.

With this glass the impossible has become possible. One for All is a unique professional wine glass for the perfect presentation of all types of wine. The glass, designed to perfection over many years, is able to bring out the wine’s aroma to its fullest, no matter what type of vine.

The glasses are manufactured in Germany of Lead Free Crystal and are specially heat-treated for maximum strength and clarity. Large surface exposure of the wine in the bowl will concentrate aromas at the mouth giving what is now known as the ‘chimney effect.’

We have taken on two different ranges, one named ‘Wine Master’ that are designed to enhance your enjoyment and understanding of Wine through various different shaped glasses. Manufactured in France for over 20 years, the Walk-In Wine Cellars allow your bottles of Wine to be kept at the perfect temperature and humidity. This is because they are supplied with cellar conditioning units with the control settings and display located outside the cellar to allow you to monitor temperature.

The Walk-In Wine Cellars are made from very robust aluminium-backed polystyrene panels and are available in bottle storage capacities of 600, 990, 2040, 3090 or 4140 (Bordeaux sized bottles).

The Wine Bottles are stored on sliding and storage shelves suitable for Bordeaux sized bottles. A standard amount of shelves are provided with additional shelves available to purchase if you wish to do so.

Control settings and display are conveniently located on the front of the unit to allow you to monitor temperatures on the outside of your cellar. External digital temperature setting & display with smart sensors and controls, which automatically adjust power for superb energy efficiency. Electronic digital controls and sensors give precise temperatures (in either Centigrade °C or Fahrenheit F) and maximize the efficiency of the unit to guarantee longer life.  Its super-smart controls sense the conditions in the cellar and will adjust the power levels automatically to ensure optimum conditions at all times.

Both models ChillR 300 (for areas up to 10m3) and ChillR Plus (for areas up to 25m3) vent directly through an internal wall into a ventilated room, corridor or space, precluding the need to knock through an external wall.

Flamingo Decanter

Equally distinctive is Riedel’s new Flamingo decanter - though it’s not at all pink. Flamingo has a broad, bulb-shaped base and an exaggerated long and slender neck reminiscent of the legs of the bird for which it was named. The Flamingo holds a standard 750ml bottle of wine. And for those who prefer their Flamingo’s pink, we suggest a nice bottle of Rose.

Swan Decanter

There is no more elegant bird than the Swan, so Riedel thought it only fitting that their new Swan decanter should embody the same natural grace. The body of the decanter mimics the gentle curvature of the form of a Swan, forming “J” shape with an exaggeratedly elongated straight neck that narrows to the elliptical lip. Wine is simply poured into the wider opening of the Swan’s “tail” (which also forms a natural handle for services) then effortlessly poured into the glass from the narrow “neck”.

Paloma Decanter

A variety of the wines winged dove, the Paloma is a bird with a curvilinear form that lends itself well to this stylish decanter. As with the Swan, wine is poured into the widest opening in the “tail” of the vessel and poured from the narrower curved neck. The “tail” a natural hand-held, enables a sure grip, and the slender, angled neck with its elliptical mouth provides a perfect drip less pour. Mouth-blown and made of lead crystal, the Paloma holds a standard 750ml bottle of wine.
